@lrasdeadman am I supposed to remove the spring behind the cutoff lever when shimming. I notice youre cutoff lever is all the way down, but when the spring is on, my sector gear grabs it once per rotation, causing resistance

@jessedc Hey, yeh I worked my problem out, there were two things aparently what I did ‘wrong’. 1) I added a spring guide with bearings and a new piston with bearings when I should only have ONE of the two with bearings. and 2) I recently upgraded nylon bushing to Metal bushings and because theyre a little bigger i had to remove a shim on two of the gears (just make sure I had at least one on each gear) That fixed the problem, chances are you have a shimming problem

@jessedc The sector gears teeth that interlock with the spur gear must have like a 1 or half mm gap inbetween them Just use shims to get them as close together without them physicaly scratching against each other but just so the gears interlock nicely

After I shimmed my gearbox. my gun was makin that whinning noise and i didn’t know it was the shimming until i saw this video. What height was yours shimmed to in this video?

After I shimmed my gearbox. my gun was makin that whinning noise and i didn’t know it was the shimming until i saw this video. What height was your bevel gear shimmed to in this video?

for cleaning the gear i like to wipe it down with a rag and grease it up with some silicone is that good idea or should i polish it if so how to
